Etiquette

While Kabuki is a communal bathhouse, we encourage our guests to enter a meditative state. Therefore, we ask that talking be kept at a minimum. Cell phone and other electronics usage is not allowed. We are fortunate to have a clothing-optional bathhouse, and ask all guests to observe our few and meaningful rules: no talking and no touching.

Communal Bath Schedule

Our intention is to be inclusive to everyone, while also ensuring our guests feel comfortable and safe. To ensure this, the communal bathhouse is open as follows:
Women: Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays (Bathing Suit Optional) Women’s days are for women and girls. All cisgender and transgender women are welcome.
Men: Thursdays and Saturdays (Bathing Suit Optional) Men’s days are for men and boys. All cisgender and transgender men are welcome.
All Gender days are on Mondays and Tuesdays. Bathing suits are required. Non-binary changing facilities are available on Monday and Tuesday upon request.

Reservations

We do have a limited number of communal bathing reservations per day. Reservations are required for baths. Reserved bath times will be in 2 1/2 hour increments. The start time of your reservation is flexible, but the end time is firm. As with all reservations, a credit card is needed to guarantee your appointment.

Health Considerations

At Kabuki Springs, we welcome you back with our top priority being your wellbeing and our staff’s safety. Please see a staff member for our entire list of cleaning and safety protocols.

Visiting Kabuki Springs & Spa is a wonderful body-cleansing experience and can be enjoyed by most people. However, because we use heat to reach a state of relaxation, some clients should be aware of health issues. Those with low and high blood pressure can be negatively affected. High heat causes the capillaries in the skin to dilate, which in effect lowers blood pressure. When this happens, the heartbeat increases to keep blood pressure normal. Having a light meal prior to your visit is recommended to prevent any discomfort due to high heat. Pregnant women should seek the advice of their doctor prior to a spa visit. The use of drugs and/or alcohol prior to your spa visit is strongly discouraged. As our guests are using the baths to promote health, we recommend that the communal baths are not used when you are feeling under the weather.
